Atlus has proven that Persona 4 DAN was not a one off, and while SEGA and Atlus seem to have lost the Hatsune Miku license recently, it is clearly not because the company has lost the ability to produce a sublime example of the rhythm game genre.

For Persona 3, it’s touching to see these characters, the wonderful music, and their original voice actors return after so long for one more group outing.

At their core, both are solid, fun rhythm action games with kickass soundtracks that you can have a great time with, regardless of character knowledge, and despite the games being exact copies of each other. If you like the genre and have that itch, then get on your dancing shoes and enter the Velvet Room. The stage awaits.

Persona 3: Dancing in Moonlight is a fun rhythm game that could've been so much more but still manages to be well worth it for Persona 3 fans with some excellent music.

Persona 3 Dancing Moon Night had everything to be a great game, but sadly weird decision made by Atlus such as the lack of a proper solo mode, the addition of a lot of non-remixed tracks hurt the overall experience. Why tone down on the "Electro/Dancing" feeling that the first instalment had? That's a shame since the few remixes left are actually pretty good. Still a nice experience, but not as fullfiling as the first game.

In the end, though, it’s the gameplay and music that’s king here, and both together make for a very enjoyable experience. It’s not worth the for $60 price tag for non-Persona 3 fans, but is worth trying after a price drop.

Taking time out from fighting shadows or stealing hearts, Persona 3: Dancing in Moonlight and Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight give you a fun way to hang out with your favourite SEES members or Phantom Thieves, while the series' iconic music has lost none of its resonance.

A lot of fun for fans of Persona 3. A shame that someone is review bombing every smt and persona related game.

Enjoyable, it is very familiar if you played P4D, and as a rhythm game is as solid as can be with a great soundtrack. The lack of a storyEnjoyable, it is very familiar if you played P4D, and as a rhythm game is as solid as can be with a great soundtrack. The lack of a story though is mostly noticeable because of how unexpectedly good the P4 dancing and fighting game stories were for 'side' projects. Expand

The number of negatives keeps rising gradually and its the same on the page for the other game. They're at the same number and rise at the same incrimates and have been for hours now. The songs are great and the core gameplay is solid, but overall P3D and P5D are bare-bones releases in a way that P4D was not. Perhaps becauseThe songs are great and the core gameplay is solid, but overall P3D and P5D are bare-bones releases in a way that P4D was not. Perhaps because of the backlash from P4D being canon Atlus has given up on trying to incorporate a meaningful solo mode in the Persona rhythm games. There is a lot of irony in the fact that P4D is bundled as an "extra" with P3D & P5D yet is actually the most substantial game of the lot. These are still worth playing for a chance to revisit your favorite characters but I am disappointed overall. Hopefully a Persona 3 remake is released with these assets. Expand
